About Us

Our Mission

Welcome to Chordwave! Our mission is to create the largest and most reliable website to learn about music. We are still a new website and plan on covering all topics from music theory, DAW plugins, and much more…

About Me

Hey! My name’s Christian and I’m the founder of Chordwave. I’ve been producing and playing music for almost a decade, and have developed a diverse set of skills working with artists. I love all types of music but my main genres are Rock, R&B, and Hip-Hop. I’m best at music production and mixing, but also play guitar and piano.

My Music Journey

My love for music started when I was a toddler. Since I was drawn to anything that made noise, instruments like the guitar and drums were all new and exciting to my younger self.

The first instrument I took seriously was the Violin. Starting in 6th grade, I joined my school’s orchestra and played for 4 years, I loved it but eventually got bored of it. By 7th grade I thought I would be done with music, little did I know my real love would be in music production.

Fast forward to my sophomore year of high school, a friend introduced me to music production through a software called “FL Studio,” a popular DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). We had no idea what we were doing, but had lots of fun making loops. The more beats I made, the better I got, making me love it even more.

This led me down a music production rabbit hole, I taught myself mixing, arrangement, and many other aspects of production. One thing led to the next, I bought plugins, guitars, a keyboard, and the list goes on.

Why We Created Chordwave

Throughout my years of producing, I’ve learned many valuable lessons and have gotten much better than when I started, but this all came with a cost…

I’ve wasted hundreds, if not thousands of hours searching for quality information. I’ve gone through countless forums, videos, websites, you name it. And sure, I found lots of helpful information for beginners, but not much for more advanced people.

I was surprised by how hard it was to learn and progress with my music production, so I decided to do something about it… this led me to where I am today with Chordwave!
